Sonic Generations Info Topic
I saw that review and I am heck of excited after the demo. Too bad it has to release on the same day as Uncharted 3. It's going to have to wait a few weeks before I get it, unfortunately. I'll probably rent it before that time though.

First Uncharted 3 Review
You pretty much are doing yourself an injustice by NOT playing them. Uncharted 2 pretty much won almost every GOTY award out there and Uncharted 3 seems to be following in its footsteps. Getting 10s like it's nothing.

I've beaten the first and second one and they are both great. One of the few games I can play over and over and still love it. Now no game is going to please everyone even how popular it is so try not to let hype get to you. Over hyping ruins even the best of games.

Pfft.

I like iPods, gaming consoles, Windows (Hell, I basically rebel against this shit you call Macintosh. Macs are for PC newbies. Windows is for epic people who know how to code.)

I'm planning to get the Xperia Play as my first phone, and I thought the PSP was decent for it's graphics capability. I also have a love-hate relationship with Sony.

I like PS3, hate PS2, Like PS1, Hate Vita.

Ok then what exactly are you complaining about? I don't get why you are saying it is too much. You like similar devices that cost just as much or more except the Vita does more than those devices as far as gaming goes with the same multimedia functions that they have.

I also disagree with you calling the 3DS an enhanced DS with 3D. The graphics are much improved. What ever happened to games being the sole focus of game systems? Now we need all of this useless tacked on B.S. for it to be good? The 3DS is going to be offering lots of great games this year and next, THAT should be the sole reason for you liking it but somehow those great games aren't enough because it doesn't completely reinvent how a handheld is? Lame! As for pricing I agree that a 3DS was NEVER worth $250 but is fine at $170 whereas the Vita IS worth the $250 because it does so much more.

PS Vita costs way too damn much for a handheld. 170 is still too much to ask for just for a enchanced DS, just in 3D

Let's hope Microsoft NEVER makes Handhelds.

Screw that actually, I would like an HD handheld!

*Off topic* Oh man I am enjoying this multiquote feature so much!

So I'm guessing you're not a big fan of iPods, iPads, mobile phones, etc? Since they are way more expensive than a Vita with a bunch of poor bitesized games and only a few gems that are on every system anyway? For what you're getting it's a great price(unlike the 3DS was at $249) and you're the first I've heard to complain about its price. There was a lot of complains about $249 for the PSP but all praise for the Vita being at that price.

The Vita is pretty close to 720p, it's like 580p or something and on a handheld having that high of a resolution is pointless. You wouldn't be able to see the details on such a small screen anyway. HD matters more and more the bigger you go.

I'd be getting this just for LittleBigPlanet.

I love that game no matter what system it gets released on these days. :3

This one isn't a simple port and how they utilize the touch screen/pad looks interesting. The box art looks funny with the hands in it though.

That's sooner than I thought! I'm really tempted to get one and I probably will as long as no major bills come my way. These things look SWEET!

Grand Theft Auto : San Andreas
I loved San Andreas but by the time it came out I was pretty much done with GTA. I still enjoyed it though and I agree though that GTA 4 was overrated. GTA4 sucked...

First Uncharted 3 Review
Cannot wait for this game, the first two games were pretty good and this one has many more new features! Too bad the review is in Spanish so I can't read it but that is a good thing as it is reported to have many SPOILERS!! So once they get translated I still will not read it.

Quote:

The first review of Uncharted 3 is in. Spanish magazine Playmania reviewed the title in its December issue, giving the game a 9.9 out of 10. This is the highest score the publication has ever provided for a game.

To compare, Playmania gave Uncharted 2 a 9.5 a couple of years ago.

Most folks probably won’t pick up the latest Playmania, but if you do purchase it and can understand Spanish, be warned: the review apparently spoils the end of the game.

The print embargo for Uncharted 3 has ended, so we should see more reviews appearing over the next few days. The online review embargo ends on October 24.

Uploading Avatar?

I know what you mean, but for some odd reason you need to be at a certain rank (Through posts) to be able to upload your own picture as your Avatar.
Weird, i know.
It's not weird... It's to prevent new members from joining, uploading an avatar, and just leaving after a few months. If they're going to leave fairly soon then we don't need them using up server space because it's not unlimited.

Gran Turismo 5 Spec II
Finally more info about Spec II has been released! If you ask me, it's totally awesome! Spec II will be great but I can't wait for the new track DLC. Not a better time to pick it up either with the recent price drop to $40. GT5 1.00 and GT5 1.12 are so different it's crazy. This update will make it go even further !!

Kazunori Yamauchi has been sharing a boatload of new details via Twitter this morning on the previously announced Gran Turismo 5 Spec 2.0 Update coming later this month. Here’s an overview of what we can expect from 2.0, which will be made available to everyone for free:

*Simplified interior views added to all standard cars.
*User control of the weather change feature.
*Settings sheet which allows you to save multiple car settings.
*New Spec 2.0 opening movie.
*Improved UI response and usability.
*Replay forward/rewind.
*Mid-race save feature for endurance races.
*Expanded online lounge features (narrowing down car types, shuffle races…).
*Expanded Photo Travel features (you can now take photos of cars together with your avatar).
*Added “NASCAR Pit Scene” stage to Photo Travel.
*Added 11 new 2011 NASCAR models.
*Added the Nissan GT-R N24 Schulze Motorsport (the car in which Kazunori contested the 2011 Nurburgring 24 Hours).
*Improved physics and artificial intelligence.
*Support for the Logitech G25/G27 steering wheel.

Commenting about the update, Kazunori had this to say about the company’s inspiration and motivation for the new features:

The coming Gran Turismo 5 Spec 2 update is an update that contains the feedback from the users playing GT5 online every day. We have added cars such as the newest NASCAR race cars, but many of the updates are those that improve usability and expand the field of game play. I believed from the initial release of Gran Turismo 5 that it would be the users that would make the game grow thereafter, and we added things like interior views for the standard models because there was a lot of request for it from our users. You could say that this update is the shape and form of GT5 that was created through the opinions of our fans.

Kazunori has also provided some information about DLC, which will become available sometime after Spec 2.0 is released and will include a “racing car pack”, a “course pack”, and a “racing gear pack”. Stay tuned for more details on those soon, and thanks to all of you who sent this in! A batch of new screenshots and info featuring the Spec 2.0 changes and additions have now been released. The release date for 2.0 has also been set for October 11th, as confirmed by the Playstation Blog

Ico & Shadow of the Colossus Collection

I got to get my hands on this today. My friend Sean let me borrow his PS3, and... I'll be honest. I was a little disappointed because of the frame rate back then. I played Shadow of the Colossus again, and it was awesome that there was near no lag in it this time. |3

It's still awesome to return to this game and go through the epic battles with each boss. |D So glad I had an opportunity to pick it up once more.
I never played it on PS2 but I did hear it had some framerate issues. So far I've gotten pretty far on Ico. I just dabbled with Colossus so far but I will play it after I beat Ico. It's a really good game and refreshing to get away from the usual shooter/racing games that are all too dominate now days.
