Could strong religious believers

After watching a halloween specialof King of the Hill, it made me wonder, if there were many people in the world who is were as religious as the woman in KotH, would it ruin the world?

And by strong, I mean the woman made sure Arlen, Texas had a curfew so no one could Trick-or-Treat, since she figures Halloween is for satanists.
Dude... Well let me just say this, there are extremists on all sides of the spectrum (including non-religious). I don't think it would ruin the world, because most religious(strong or not) aren't like that and I don't think they ever could be the majority.

Dream Cars
Vector is an American company. I first learned about them because they were in Gran Turismo 2. :D Also I believe there were only 20 W8s built, so I consider that rare enough. ;)

Vector W8: Probably this one since it's so more rare.

Probably for the enslaved Chinese that they use. :D That's way too expensive! Sheesh, just make your own.

Minor Nitpicks

I agree. I don't see why the game review section shouldn't be a sub forum of the gaming forum myself.
Because it would go further unnoticed than it already is. Subforums fail, almost always. There is no need for them, unless they are unimportant parts of the forum. When building a forum, you want most of it to be on the front page. Gamefaqs is nice but also overrun by crap in general, it is nice to have reviews from fellow members that you know instead of some complete stranger.

As far as the Sega thing, I think it's just nitpicking on stuff that doesn't really matter each way. What's funny is it has been the same way it has been for nearly a year now and now it's a problem? It's not like Sega has so many games to discuss that it just floods the section and makes it hard to find Sonic topics.

Best TWISTED METAL game
There were five on ps1, including small brawl. TM2 is by far the best. As for best in the series, for me, that would go to TM: Black on Ps2.

I have a 1 gig stick. Is that considered alot? and the three games I have are Monster Hunter Freedom Unite, GoW: Chains of Olympus, and Crisis Core. What I'm aiming for is to be able to get a PS3 with that money.
Well a 1 gig stick is not very big, but sufficient. With those games(being heavy hitters) I'd say $180 isn't out of the question to ask for on Craigslist. Just remember to do local deals, don't ship it off anywhere.

Lol...
Damn you, everytime I see you post I think it's me. lol

My goal is Uncharted 2 first. I may rent MW2, but MAG is much higher on my radar for military shooters.

Lol...
Hmmm... Do you have a large memory stick with it? If not, I'd say about $180 on Craigslist isn't too far fetched, although you have to word it nicely and see what others in your area are going for.

God of War Collection
Well the collection date has been announced, it comes out on Nov. 17th. Anyone planning on getting it? I had GOW2 on PS2 but even if I still had it, I'd just sell it and get this.

Both games/bonus content on one disc, remastered in HD, 60fps, trophies, and the GOW3 demo from E3.

Seems like your leaping around the Sony market, Metallix. XD Now you just gotta land a copy of Uncharted 2 and you're set. ^_^
That's my next goal. :D I don't think the Go's a bad idea, I liked it better than my 3k. If you have tons of games and get tired of some just swap them out for different ones.

You couldn't wait to get a new TV so you sold your PS3, then sold your perfectly good PSP 3000 and got a Go, and then a few days later you sell that Go and get a PS3?

wat
Lol. It wasn't just about not having a TV, I also sold it because I needed some extra cash. I sold my 3000 to make some extra cash as well. I didn't make money on this, but I'd say I made a great deal.

As for Madden, I haven't played it a whole lot. I haven't played a football game since GameDay '97 so it's going to take some time to get used to all of the massive upgrades they've put into these games since 12 years ago. :D

Lol...
Sold my PSP Go for $200 and got a PS3 for $250. 80 gig, Socom Confrontation, Madden 10, two controllers, Quantum of Solace Blu Ray, and a blue tooth headset! Not too shabby of a deal!

Cross Game Chat coming to PS3

Party chats are more than helpful and PSN users will like it.. not that many talk in my experiences. At least Sony's following a nice model in Live, this should help gamer friends keep in touch without having to do the same thing at the same time, just relax and do whatever they like.
I'm sure many will like it, but I rarely talk in games anyway even with a headset. lol Just a personal preference.

Hard to find good co op games these days...
Resistance 2 has one of the best co-op modes I've played in a shooter. The best thing about it is Resistance 2 does not offer co-op for the single player campaign. Cooperative mode features a separate campaign mode which runs parallel to the single-player campaign so it doesn't ruin the main campaign like many games do. I'm not saying campaign co-op is always horrible, but there are a lot of games now days that just mess it up.

Anyway the Co-Op on Resistance 2 supports 2-8 player online with support for split screen to play with a buddy(you don't even need to have other online players, but it would be hard with only two I would believe). Three classes: soldier(big guns/can endure more damage), medic(heals team mates/drains enemies health), and special ops(long distance damage dealers/gives team mates ammo). You all have to work together to beat the missions, because going in alone will get you killed. Also if you find Co-Op to be too easy, there is a SuperHuman Co-Op that is much harder. In this mode the difficulty is turned up much higher and if you die, you die, there's no coming back until the next round.

Mac vs PC

From the perspective of a future professional PC technician/network administrator who's in college, the PC is the superior platform and the numbers speak for themselves:

A mere 6.5% in September. Psh.

Numbers mean shit. iPods are also the most popular MP3 players by far, but they aren't even close to being the best.

Anyway, I have a PC but I'd rather have a Mac. PC is buggy as hell, you can drive a Hummer through the holes in the Windows OS.

A Crack in Time Topic
Here is the video review from IGN. 9/10, again another great platformer in a gaming world that the genre is dying in.

A Crack in Time Topic
The first review is out! Looking like an awesome game, but who had any doubt?

Quote:

I must admit. Sony have some smashing exclusive's this year and Insomniac's Ratchet & Clank: A Crack In Time is the latest exclusive on the way and has already received it's first review from UK magazine PSM3.

I'm happy to say that the PSM3 team have given the game a brilliant score of 90, describing the game as "Massive, rewarding, funny"

We're looking forward to A Crack in Time and will be bringing you a review of the game closer to release.

Uncharted 2 Review & Discussion Thread
Wow! First Infinity Ward told consumers to buy Uncharted 2, now 3D Realms(of Duke Nukem fame) is saying that Uncharted 2 is on par with Half Life. The proof is in the pudding, although I'd say U2 is better than HL2.

Quote:

Though 3D Realms, the studio behind Duke Nukem, has closed down, this doesn't mean that its employees aren't doing active "research."

George Broussard, developer on the original Duke Nukem, and director on Duke Nukem 3D (before the studio went tits up) has been playing through Naughty Dog's Uncharted series. His impressions have been ecstatic, to say the least.

"Amazing single player experiences, nearly, if not, on par with Half-Life 1/2. I haven't felt this giddy over a game series since Half-Life," Broussard writes on the ShackNews Forums. "This is epic badassery right here. Believe the hype."

The game has been incredibly well received by critics, earning a 96/100 metascore after 73 reviews on Metacritic. Broussard's praise continues:

"Scope-wise it's not even fair. Uncharted 2 *does* so much it's just intimidating. It's going to ruin gaming for me. No way this game can ever be the baseline for games. It's like you go see movies and they are ok, then every 5 years something like Lord of the Rings comes out.

"It's rare that I like games this much. There's virtually no fail in them. Very polished and well done on every level. These are master works, up there with the tops games being made. You may as well be playing great Indiana Jones movies."

And more:

"Game of the year. Can't see anything else besting it, even the mighty Modern Warfare 2. We shall see. That's the battle, imo, for Game of the Year.

"I can't take any more. The game will set bars so high that every action game will be a disappointment to play. Much like Half-Life did."

Following a number of excited mid-game forum posts, including "UN-fudgeING-BELIEVABLE GAME!!!" and "Best. Game. Ever. Seriously. The 95+ reviews are warranted. No hype," Broussard sums up his thoughts after finishing the game:

"Finished it. Jesus Christ. This is one of, if not the, most amazing games I've ever played. It deserves every game of the year award. What they achieved is unbelievable. It's seriously hard to think about playing another game after this. It'd be like watching some random movie after just having seen Star Wars.

"It's certainly in the top running for "best action game ever" with Resident Evil 4/5, Metal Gear 4, Half Life 2, and you know...the best games basically ever made.

"This game is worth borrowing a PS3 from a friend if you can't afford, or don't want one.

"No gamer should miss playing this game, because games like this only come along every few years."

Uncharted 2: Among Thieves opened to a first place position in the UK Individual Formats Chart, despite being on sale for only one day.

I say: Clank, Sackboy, Eyepet, Tails(in 2D form), and chao.
