I. Notes -
The towns are seperate from the Castle grounds, as they spread throughout the continent.
II. Overview-
This is a guide/map to the world(s) I am in the process of making, to give my characters even more depth and history. As such, the Blog here is an ideal place to store these ideas for now.
1. Vikailian Kingdom
1a. Vikaile Castle -
Birthplace of Neshar, founding-father of the Vikaile Family. The Castle was named in his honor, and as the means to begin the Vikaile bloodline's rule over the continent. The Vikailian Kingdom is the richest and greatest power in the world of Vesol.
1b. Towns -
Zalnett - Contains an Inn and a variety of shops for the ideal adventurer.
Guwale - A merchant's haven, the best place to shop for other goods.
Kosint - not much is known about this small town, but locals say that it is home to a once famed scientist, now gone mad by the effects of a strange jewel.
Harin - A port town and the front for the Vikailian Army. Contains an Inn and a few shops for minor purchases, As well as a means of transport via ship to the other continents. There is a base of operations stationed near the town, but it is only accessible by Army Officials.
Empyrae - Within this town lies an Arena, where the strong test themselves against one another in controlled bouts.
1c. Key Locations -
Emerald Garden - A large green landscape that remains untouched by most. An unkown force lingers in the air here, preventing anyone from exploring the forest that sits at the center of the land.
Caves of The Ancients - Recorded as existing since Ancient times, these caves remain unexplored. Not one soul knows what rests deep inside them.
Submerged Ruin - Once there was an island that rested near the coast of Harin, but history's tale told us that it was destroyed during the war between all 3 kingdoms 200 years after the founding of the Vikailian Empire. (The First Great War)
2. Pasant Kingdom
2a. Pasant Castle -
The Pasant Kingdom is a heavily-populated tradesman continent. It has engaged in many trades with both kingdoms, though now it only seems to have relations with the Vikaile Kingdom, and has even cut off ship routes to Zenal due to the effects of the First Great War. The current successor to the Pasant throne goes by the name of Vegura, yet he is not a member of the bloodline. In fact, rumors say that he won the throne due to his loyalty and the previous King's early death.
2b. Towns-
The Grand Wall- In truth, there are no towns between the castle and a large wall that surrounds the entire continent. Rather, this wall serves as an area for many shops and services to be stationed. The outside of the wall serves as a barricade for war.
2c. Key Locations-
Ruin Of Illusions- Not much is known about this underground area, other than it messes with the thoughts of those who dare enter it. Rumors have been heard that Pasant's former Chancellor, Illusimine, rests here.
3. Zenal Kingdom
3a. Zenal Court-
The Zenal Court serves as the foundation of government for the entire continent. Here, the leaders of all the factions that live on Zenal meet to discuss terms and issues regarding their relations with the other kingdoms.
3b. Towns-
Light Tower-
Home to the warriors who have adopted the art of using Electricity to their advantage in battle. This town serves as the main Lookout Zone since it resides so close to the ocean.
Flare Dome-
Home to the warriors who've adopted the art of using Fire to their advantage in battle.
The large defenses surrounding this town allow the Zenal military to plan out their strategies for war.
Ocean Barracks-
The name of this place comes from the inhabitants of the town, who use the ocean to their advantage in battle. Mainly serving as a training barracks for the entire continents military, it also contains a secret underground passage, connecting all of the towns together through a series of tunnels.
3c. Key Locations-
Grand Sanctuary- This ruin, now approached by the current generation of Vesolians, serves as the last line of defense for the Zenal Continent. A power not meant to be tampered with lies within the deepest reaches of this place.
