Sonic Adventure 1 Review

Well, I've skipped out on the review so here it is; My review of Sonic Adventure 1

So what can I say? This game was awesome and still is, the multiple playable characters and gameplay types are interesting, The music is awesome, and the plot is interesting; It also brought about the new design of Sonic and other characters, as well as an official voice for Sonic, (Sorry Sonic CD, your suicide easter egg doesn't count) this was a big game. So let's get started.

The plot opens to Sonic returning to Station Square to confront a new threat, Chaos, a water creature who has stretchy arms and continues getting stronger with every chaos emerald it gets, and with Eggman using it and feeding it the emeralds, Sonic and friends are off to save the day.

The gameplay of this game is separated to six characters with different view points of the events happening throughout the game. Sonic being the first character you play as, you can unlock the other characters Tails, Knuckles,Amy, E-102y, and Big the Cat. Sonic's,Tails,Amy's,and E-102y Gameplay is about getting to the end of the level though are slightly different from the initial idea that is Sonic's gameplay, while Knuckles is about getting the 3 shards of the M.E., and Big's is about fishing.

The graphics of this game were decent for it's time, the games multiple levels and hub worlds show that quite well, the cinematics also show off the graphics quite decently.

I haven't even started about the Music, man...the music is a good listen if you enjoy sonic tunes in other games. Just listen to cool tunes like "Open Your Heart" or "It Doesn't Matter" and you'll see what I mean. ( though I quite like Big's theme myself :3)

While this game is good, there are some flaws to it. The camera can sometimes be unwieldy during gameplay, and some characters gameplay*coughbig'sgameplaycough* can be quite tough due to the way it's implemented. I don't recall other issues unfortunately, but the games quite good either way.

In conclusion, this game is amazing; I recommend this game to Sonic fans who want a another cool Sonic game in their collection.
