ZamauWhat Are You Currently Playing

What game are you currently playing?

Currently I'm playing Dragon Quest Builders on the Nintendo Switch. I'm on chapter 2 trying to help heal the sick patients of Rimuldar. I have the blue and red teleportals and my land is at level 3.

Currently currently immensely enjoying Final Fantasy VI. At the moment I'm on Sabin's scenario, having just left the Phantom Forest for Narshe to meet up with the rest of the party. Sabin himself is at Level 14, and Cyan is at Level 15. Was not expecting this game to be as fun or surprisingly easy as it is, it being an older JRPG and all, and considering my general mixed feelings about VII's gameplay and pacing.

Just got Sonic Mania Plus, finally. Been playing that a bit. Haven't played a whole lot lately but that will change.

Last night I popped in Farpoint and got out my Aim controller. The game starts a bit slow but I got to a turning point and not only is it more intense it’s more interesting, I like the story and want to know more! The setting of being lost in space is not original but a good one and the art is very nice! What I like about shooters in VR is no buttons to take cover or peak around corners you do all of that with your body movements. Blind fire? Just reach out with your controller.

Been playing Breath of the Wild ! Didn't think it'd be my type of game cus I normally don't like Zelda but I do like the open world aspect of it. Big Grin

Dead Cells has been my latest fancy. Fantastic, fast-paced roguelike RPG with incredibly smooth comat at breakneck speed. If you've heard anything about this game, it's probably been praise (or maybe that whole IGN controversy), and it deserves every bit of that.

Just played and beat Farpoint. The gameplay was great at the ending but the actual story part seemed undercooked. The ending was a HUGE cliffhanger so unless there’s a sequel it’s not very good at explaining things.

Currently chipping away at Death's Gambit. It's a shame, I really wanted to like this game. I've been looking forward to it for a long time. The art style is great, the music is captivating and the story seems genuinely interesting, but the combat is clunky and unresponsive, the stamina meter feels counter-productive, and the level design can be outright sadistic at times. I'm still going to try to get through it but so far has not been as fun as it should have been.

Currently just started The Last Guardian, but been going back to Stardew Valley and Zelda: BotW when I can. BotW especially since I just got to the Champion's Ballad content on my Master Mode file. It has not been an easy journey for sure.
